HIGHLAND GAMES
For a complete different experience than your normal fair, check out the Highland Games at Edgewater park held in July. Here they have everything from folk music and Scottish dancing to sheepdog hearding and traditional Scottish althletic events. Relax while having some tasty food and some fresh microbrews in the beer garden. Kids will love it between all the activities for them and the celtic animal farm. You won't want to miss the one and only U.S. National Scottish Fiddling Championship!

SKAGIT VALLEY TULIP FESTIVAL
Every April in the Skagit Valley is the world famous Tulip Festival. People travel from all over the world every year to see the brightly colored fields of tulips. This festival runs about all month with a variety of activities from salmon barbecues, parades, art shows, and the street fair. To learn more about it click on the link below.
